A gang of armed robbers used sledgehammers with terrifying force to smash open display cabinets at a city centre jewellers as petrified staff looked on.
A scared lone member of staff can be seen on CCTV looking on as the men violently ransack the premises around her.
The masked raiders arrived at Eternity Diamonds, in Hurst Street, just after 10.30am on Thursday, August 23.
They used weapons to break into displays before stuffing jewellery into large carrier bags, Birmingham Live reports.
Within a few moments, they fled with hundreds of thousands of pounds of gold and diamonds, on foot and then in a blue BMW, which according to police, was using false number plates BW16 XSZ.
