A daredevil cliffjumper who backflipped more than 70ft down a raging waterfall says he's "lucky to be alive".
Matty Harper threw himself off the top of Britain's most powerful waterfall and was sucked underneath for eight seconds, before he came up gasping for breath.
Many condemned the dangerous stunt which took place at the 71ft tall High Force Falls, in Teesdale, County Durham .
Now, the man who claims to be the one in the heart-stopping video has warned others not to follow in his footsteps.
The 25-year-old, from Bradford, had travelled with a group of friends to take on the dangerous jump, the Chronicle Live reports.
Mr Harper says he's an experienced cliff jumper, and took on what he called a "tsukahara, front flip 180 to backflip".
