Brazil- An 18-year-old man drowned in Rio Itapicuru, located in the district of Jorrinho, in the municipality of Tucano, 83 km from Serrinha. According to information collected by reporter Reny Maia, the case occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday (30), but the body of the young man was only found around 15h30 on Wednesday (31).
The victim, identified as Daniel Miranda dos Santos, had six friends at the scene, who have a bridge. The young man's friends recorded the moment he jumped off the bridge at a point deep in the river and could not get out onto the surface of the water.
In the video, obtained exclusively by the reporter Reny Maia (Portal Cleriston Silva - PCS), the young people appear in a relaxed atmosphere. The one in white T-shirt and black shorts is Daniel, seconds before he dies. It rises on the lateral protection bar of the bridge and jumps into the waters of the river, from a height of about 15 meters. Three other friends of the victim also jumped and left swimming.
