'Pushy parent' football video goes viral after nudging young goalkeeper son to save shot

There’s nothing quite like a ‘pushy parent’.



And one Dad has gone viral after his attempt to help his goalkeeper son save a shot in an Under 6s football match spectacularly backfired.



In the footage, the eager father appears to direct the young lad towards a goal bound effort.



At the last minute, the goalie pulls off a fine save. But he only manages to divert the balling the path of another player who taps the ball into the back of the net.



Parents on the sidelines are heard laughing as the Dad throws his hands up in the air in disbelief.



But the truth behind the viral video has now emerged.
