GWR passenger screams racist abuse and threatens to "destroy" Asian man on train

A man has been accused of hurling racist abuse on a train after being filmed shouting at an Asian couple in a "10-minute tirade".



The video is believed to have been taken on the 5pm Great Western Railway train from London Paddington to Bristol on November 14, between the stops of Bath and Temple Meads .



It shows a man aggressively swearing and gesturing towards two people, who he is kept separated from by other passengers who have stepped in.



A 35-year-old witness, who does not wish to be named, told Bristol Live the incident escalated to such an extent the male victim ran away from the aggressor screaming, and the woman followed him down the carriage crying.



The man can be heard saying: "I'll f***ing destroy you, you c**t" and the video finishes with him shouting "f**k you, you Chinese c**t."
