A thug has been jailed for 12 years after he ploughed his car into a crowd of people standing outside a pub in a 'revenge attack' for being kicked out.
James Bates, 25, injured seven people when he crashed his silver Vauxhall Corsa into the pub in a premeditated attack on November 24 last year.
Witnesses said afterwards the impact of the “revenge” attack was so shocking "it was like a bomb going off", Kent Online reports.
He had been boozing in the Cinque Ports Arms in the town of New Romney, Kent, moments before, but was kicked out for clashing with other customers.
He was driving at 33mph when he carried out the attack at the 700-year-old pub - though incredibly none of his victims were seriously injured.
One man who was hit by the car fractured his leg and arm.
