Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) blew up the family home of Islam Abu Hmeid, a Palestinian convicted of killing an Israeli soldier, close to al-Bireh on Saturday.
Footage shows that a large number of armed Israeli soldiers and bulldozers at work, with snipers occupying nearby rooftops.
The family and other occupants of the four-storey building in al-Am'ari refugee camp, 2 km (1.25 miles) south of al-Bireh city, were forcibly removed and detained in a nearby school while the demolishment took place.
Israel has a long-standing policy of destroying what they term "terrorist's homes" as a means of discouraging future attacks. Critics believe it is a form of collective punishment and an ineffective deterrence measure.
Islam Abu Hmeid was found guilty by an Israeli court of killing Ronen Lubarsky by dropping a stone block on him during a military operation on May 24. He will join his four brothers already in prison, all of whom are serving multiple life sentences.
