British security services have made a crucial breakthrough in the search for the world’s most wanted woman.
Spies hunting suspected terror mastermind White Widow Samantha Lewthwaite have been given new intelligence she is now hiding out in Yemen.
She is understood to have relocated to the chaotic, war-torn Middle Eastern country after being linked to atrocities in Kenya and Somalia in Africa.
A source close to the seven-year hunt for Brit Lewthwaite, who is alleged to have ordered over 400 deaths, vowed: “She remains our No1 target and we believe the net is finally closing in. We will get her.”
Lewthwaite – the daughter of a British soldier and widow of a 7/7 suicide bomber – is thought to be under the protection of a network of fighters from the militant group Al-Shabaab.
