Three people were injured in a stabbing incident at the Victoria train station in Manchester on New Year's Eve, police said, pointing to the arrest of a person linked to the incident.
"At a time when we do not yet know all the circumstances surrounding the appeal, the officers from the anti-terrorism unit are leading investigations," said Rob Potts, a police chief in Manchester.
The police explained that a woman and a man both at the age of fifty were taken to hospital injuries due to stabbing, "noting that the woman was injured in the face and abdomen and that the man was also in the abdomen.
Police said the third person, a transport police officer, was wounded in the shoulder area, pointing out that the detainee was being interrogated on suspicion of trying to kill.
