Chilling CCTV footage shows 'would-be burglars' allegedly trying to break into homes - with violent tactics.
The suspects are apparently seen ripping off a doorbell and attempting to prise open a door with a large pair of pliers.
In the first of two video clips, a hooded pair walk towards a front door and try to get in, walking to and from a blue Ford Fiesta ST to grab tools.
As one tries and fails to snap the door handle off, the other paces down the driveway, pinching the sides of his hood together to obscure his face.
Apparently resigning themselves to failure, the pair drive away, the Birmingham Mail reports.
