A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing after a "drunk passenger" attacked cabin crew, according to reports.
The plane was travelling from St Petersburg to Turkish resort Antalya when a man on board, named as Alexander Tishenko, reportedly became violent and abusive.
The Boeing 737 made a forced landing in Sochi after the air rage incident grew out of hand.
Video, released by the Russian Interior Ministry, appears to show Tishenko, 33, hitting out at a male flight attendant after he was restrained in a crew seat.
He fought back after crew desperately bound his arms to prevent him throwing punches.
