Drug users are filmed shooting up outside family homes

Residents in a Melbourne suburb have launched a campaign to clean up their streets after drug addicts were filmed shooting up near homes and schools.



A safe injecting room was established in the suburb of Richmond last year, but residents say it has only increased the volume of drug users and made them more brazen.



Two addicts were recently filmed by a resident injecting in her front yard. She can be heard telling them to go to the facility down the street.
