Vegan activists stormed a Starbucks coffee shop yesterday, holding up images of pregnant cows and chanting at customers, in a bid to put people off having milk in their coffee.
The campaigners from Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) Brighton disrupted service in the city cafe while holding up images of cows being impregnated and shouting about 'abuse' in the dairy industry.
The activists were chanting 'Not your mum! Not your milk!' as they described how cows are treated on farms, while promoting what they call 'Februdairy'.
Police were called in to Starbucks by stunned staff during the 'occupation'.
The activists then surrounded Brighton Sausage Co.
