Former New York Giants defensive tackle Barry Cofield had a team of Florida police officers attempt to break into his SUV before ordering him out of the vehicle at gun point during his July arrest, as seen in newly release body-cam footage.
Cofield, 34, avoided prison time by pleading no contest to heroin possession and DUI charges last month.
The footage obtained by the Daily Mail from Seminole County Sheriff's office shows panicked officers ordering the 34-year-old Cofield out of his Cadillac Escalade after a high-speed chase.
'Get out of the car,' an officer can be heard yelling at Cofield. 'Get out of the car! Get out of the car or we'll shoot'
Cofield did not immediately comply with the first officer and a second can be heard ordering someone to 'get the mace.'
Another officer then began attempting to break the driver's side window with his baton.
'It's not breaking,' the officer said.
Eventually Cofield opens the driver's door and is ordered to get face down on the ground.
'Get on the ground,' one officer yells. 'Get on your face.'
