A 'Bonnie and Clyde' couple were seen canoodling in the street moments before storming a Spar shop armed with a meat cleaver to steal £210 from the till.
Before she burst into the store, Ashley Turner-Platt, 30, shared a kiss with her 28-year old boyfriend Ashley Turner and whispered: 'That's an easy shop to rob'.
Dramatic CCTV pictures then captured the mother-of-three holding the weapon aloft as she ordered the couple who run the shop in Blackpool to hand over the takings.
Shopkeeper Susan Evans, 63, who was behind the till, initially refused to hand over the money but Turner-Platt grabbed the victim's 65-year-old husband Lee.
As Mr Evans tried to call 999, the blonde haired robber - sporting a turquoise bobble hat, black jacket and black gloves - pushed him onto the counter, held the cleaver over his face and made chopping motions shouting: 'Just give me the f***ing money.'
Mrs Evans eventually handed over £210 and Turner-Platt and her boyfriend were seen running away and dumping the meat cleaver in an alleyway. Both were arrested later with inquiries revealing they had 46 previous offences between them on the record.
At Preston Crown Court the couple, both from Blackpool, stood side-by-side in the dock as they pleaded guilty to robbery on the morning of November 16 last year.
Turner-Platt was jailed for five years and Turner, who had serving a suspended sentence for assault, was locked up for six years and 10 months.
