Terrifying moment a careless driver nearly runs over a schoolgirl

A 13-year-old girl was almost run over when a careless driver drove through a pedestrian crossing while the traffic lights were still flashing amber.



Even after the red car narrowly passed the schoolgirl it didn't slow down and the driver continued down Shenley Lane in Birmingham, which runs past three schools.



Dashcam footage captured the shocking incident. It begins by showing a car slow down and stop at traffic lights while a large group of schoolchildren cross the road.
