Moroccan police used water cannons to disperse thousands of young teachers rallying in the capital city of Rabat on Sunday, as they protested for better work conditions.
Some protesters were filmed with leg injuries as clashes erupted between riot police and protesters.
An estimated 15,000 teachers gathered in front of parliament, reportedly chanting "liberty, dignity, social justice." According to reports full benefits and pensions were among the protesters’ demands.
