Horrific video filmed inside a high school classroom shows a pupil with autism being attacked by her fellow classmates.
The footage, which was shared on Snapchat and Instagram, shows 14-year-old Amy McAloon being held down by one of her classmates at Alsop High School, in Walton, Liverpool, while another girl hits her.
Another pupil can be heard shouting 'punch her' as her classmates stand by and watch or film the incident, which took place on Monday.
The clip continues with the girl in the foreground pushing Amy down hard by her shoulder as the autistic pupil struggles to fend off a flurry of kicks and punches.
Amy's mother, Helen McAloon, shared the video in the hope of highlighting the abuse she says her daughter has been subjected to during her time at the school.
