This is the moment a brazen thief cons her victim by asking for directions before snatching her gold necklace as she pretends to hug her.
Footage shows a young woman - travelling as a passenger in a dark Mazda saloon - approach the victim in a quiet street in Ealing, west London.
After speaking to her through the car window, the thief gets out and puts her arms around the woman's neck to restrain her before swiping the jewellery in broad daylight and escaping in the car - MyLondon reports.
