Body camera footage captured the moment a Florida sheriff's deputy deployed his taser just 10 seconds after arriving on the scene of an alleged assault.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office released video from the September 26, 2018 incident on Monday after an internal investigation concluded that Deputy Ayler Cruz did not adhere to the department's use of force policy.
Cruz was responding to a call about a possible aggravated battery at a home in Orlando when a man walked toward the officer as he stepped out of his patrol car with stun gun in hand.
He can be heard telling the man: 'You're going to get tased. I'll promise you that. Get on the f***ing ground.'
Right after the man asks: 'What am I getting on the ground for?' Cruz deploys the stun gun.
There was roughly ten seconds between when he got out of the vehicle and when he pulled the trigger, according to his body camera.
