Fans from Liverpool and Newcastle were arrested after Saturday's Premier League clash at St James' Park after shocking videos emerged of the two sets of supporters fighting.
Title challenges the Reds edged a topsy-turvy match on the pitch as Divock Origi headed in a late winner to hand the away side a 3-2 victory.
But ugly scenes marred the entertainment on the pitch as baton waving police were called in to keep the two sets of fans separated outside the ground.
The aggression started inside St James' Park as stewards were forced to eject 21 supporters, with seven home supporters and 15 away fans kicked out of the stadium.
Many of those were for Liverpool fans sitting in the Milburn End home section, who caused anger and scuffles for celebrating the Reds' goals.
