Veal calves being prepared for transport across Europe have been filmed being beaten and jumped on in leaked footage.
The animals which started their journey in Ireland, were attacked by workers at a resting area for live exports in France.
The young cows can be seen being brutally struck with sticks, pushed aggressively by workers and in one extreme scene a man jumps up and down on the back of a calf as it struggles on the floor.
The clip was filmed in a centre near Cherbourg, France and shows the animals being violently treatd.
