This is the stomach-churning moment a military chief skins and eats a live lizard in a jungle survival lesson.
The unnamed chief calmly bites into the animal's neck and peels off its skin, leaving the flesh exposed.
Whilst dozens of recruits were watching, he continued and pulled the reptile's intestines out and took a bite of the flesh.
He explained that the geckos could often be found living on tall trees and is the easiest food soldiers can find in the rain forest.
