Inmates at a Minnesota prison saved the life of a fellow prisoner who was attempting to kill himself by jumping from a balcony.
At just after 7pm on Wednesday evening at the Ramsey County Jail in St. Paul, a man was threatening to hurl himself 25-feet from a ledge on the second floor of the cell block.
The inmate would either have been killed, or have at the very least been seriously injured, but a group of three prisoners rushed to help him by moving a laundry cart underneath him, cushioning his fall.
