In a shocking turn of events, a 22-year-old crime suspect held at the Staten Island police station lifts a taser from a law enforcement officer’s vest by reaching through the holding cell’s bars. The man then used the newly-acquired weapon to threaten two officers, causing them to flee into a nearby cell for safety.
Luckily, the conflict was resolved without anyone getting stunned, as the commanding officer intervened and persuaded the detainee to surrender the taser peacefully. As a result, the young man is now facing reckless endangerment, weapons possession and menacing charges for his stunt.
