An anti-Trump protest was hijacked by men shouting 'scum' as it took place less than two miles away from the D-Day commemorations in Portsmouth.
The warring groups clashed in ugly scenes, and left police scrambling to avoid serious violence.
Footage taken at Guildhall Square in Portsmouth, Hampshire, shows people waving placards which read "Dump Trump" and "Don't allow Trump to destroy our wartime legacy".
But a group of around 50 people are seen parading into the square, chanting "shame on you", "scum", and "We love you Donald".
And tensions quickly boiled over - just a 1.5-mile walk from Southsea Common, where Donald Trump, Theresa May and other world leaders had joined 60,000 people for the National Commemorative Event for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings .
