Gang of schoolchildren in uniform 'launch daytime attack' on Wetherspoons drinkers

A group of students in uniform were filmed appearing to attack drinkers outside a Wetherspoons in south London.



In shocking footage, the group of around 10 students appear to gather at the pub's barriers, with some going on to throw punches and drinks.



Drinkers are seen tumbling to the floor in the chaos that erupted outside the Croydon branch on Wednesday afternoon.



One customer appears to grab a chair in an attempt to shield himself from the youths.



According to a Wetherspoons spokesman, the incident started further down the street and involved "a man and around 30 schoolchildren".



The clip was uploaded to Facebook, captioned: "What's wrong with the kids of south London?".



Many Facebook users were horrified by the footage.
