This is the shocking moment a thug launched an unprovoked and savage attack on a pub drinker he had been joking with just moments before.
George Horn, 25, had shaken his victim's hand when he was sat laughing at the bar with him.
But he launched a horrific attack by punching the 56-year-old victim at least five times - sending him to the floor and leaving him with an eye injury.
Shocking footage of the incident has been released by Thames Valley Police. The victim put his hands up to try and stop the blows but he then falls to the floor and again attempts to shield himself.
A member of the public can be seen trying to restrain Horn. While outside the pub in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, he then attacked a 30-year-old man for no reason, which caused him serious facial injuries.
Horn, of no fixed address, carried out the attacks at around 10pm in August last year. He was arrested and later charged with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of grievous bodily harm without intent.
