Shoppers terrified as violent brawl erupts on busy high street in broad daylight

Terrified shoppers watched on as a massive brawl broke out between two men along Peckham's high street in broad daylight.



A shirtless man and his opponent were seen kicking, punching and wrestling each other as horrified passers-by witnessed the altercation.



During the incident, the topless man can be seen throwing his opponent's bag across the road which crashed into the window of an oncoming bus.



Locals were forced to step in and break up the altercation, which happened outside the Betfred store yesterday.
