A scuba diver had a shock underwater after being attacked by a giant octopus while exploring the Sea of Japan.
The diver from Mayak Gamov, Russia, desperately tried to shake the octopus off his feet as it wrapped around his limb with its large tentacles, according to news.com.au.
The footage, filmed on the Garrow Peninsula, shows the eight-legged animal latching onto the diver's body and tries to bite down on him with its sharp beak, hidden where its mouth is.
The man made a few attempts to pull away the octopus, but it moved down to his fins.
