Viewers were left horrified last night after shocking footage showed a man who had been stabbed in the backside on 999 What's Your Emergency.
In the horrifying episode of the Channel 4 show, police were called to Corby, Northamptonshire, where they found the victim covered in blood following what is believed to have been a drug-related crime.
Discussing the 'bagging' stabbing trend which is on the rise, PC Steve Cheatam explained: 'Someone will be stabbed up the backside so they have to wear a colostomy bag for the rest of their life.'
'They do that simply because of the injury and the humiliation that person will have to live with.'
And viewers who watched the drama unfold took to Twitter to voice their disgust at the gruesome scenes.
'Oh my god that is shocking - "bagging," never heard the term before (other than in the supermarket). These gangs are really sick vile individuals.'
