A woman who allegedly snatched a newborn baby girl from hospital and tried to sell her to passers by on the street has been arrested by police.
It is claimed Asel, 22, stole the child from the Taraz Regional Maternity Hospital in southern Jambyl province of Kazakhstan.
CCTV footage appears to show the woman kidnapping the child and hiding her in a bag without staff realising.
The lady, dressed in a long pink dress, can be seen hurriedly walking past hospital staff clutching on to the bag reportedly containing the child.
