Occurred at the Walmart Superstore, 100 Walmart Dr, North Versailles, Pennsylvania on Friday, 5 July 2019 about 9:30 PM.
Two young women attacked a third woman, identified as Rojanai Alston. An unknown man accompanying Alston intervened and tried to separate the two women attacking the victim.
Rojanai possessed a carry permit, and had a handgun in her purse. She pulled the handgun and fired at her attackers.
The Allegheny County District Attorney stated that her first five shots were justified, but the last two were not. Rojanai's attorney disagrees. Rojanai has been charged with aggravated assault.
