A YouTuber has been placed under police investigation after footage showed her allegedly hitting and spitting on her dog.
Brooke Houts has been slammed for allegedly abusing her pet Doberman, Sphinx, in a YouTube video.
In footage which has surfaced online, the 20-year-old appears to smack her dog after he jumped up at her shouting "No!" before she appears to pin him down to the floor and spit on him.
Houts' subscribers believed she accidentally uploaded an unedited clip of the alleged abuse on social media.
The video, which was re-published on Twitter by popular YouTuber Keemstar on Wednesday, has since gained over 22 million views.
