Man Tasered after 'storming into cafe, attacking diners and eating their food'

A man said to have 'superhuman strength' was Tasered by police after he allegedly attacked customers in a vegetarian café bar.



Diners tried to tackle the man and were forced to defend themselves with chairs when he flew into a frenzy at Fuel Café Bar in Withington, south Manchester, it is alleged.



Dramatic footage filmed by a witness shows a man shouting at a woman who was reportedly trying to calm him down.



Glasses were smashed and a window was shattered amid the incident after the man had eaten people's food and downed customers' drinks, reports said.



A witness claimed the man even grabbed a staff member by the throat and pushed him over a table.



Police had to Taser the man, the Manchester Evening News reports, and he was seen in footage falling to the floor and rolling around, appearing to be in pain.
