Disturbing footage has emerged of a pigeon struggling to walk after inmates allegedly spiked it with Spice - causing it to "fly into a wall and break its neck".
The pigeon is seen in a yard at an unknown prison, spinning around and struggling to walk, apparently under the affect of the synthetic cannabis, which can leave users in a zombie-like state, the Liverpool Echo reports .
In the clip, a prisoner, who is believed to be on the phone, can be heard saying: "There's a pigeon in the yard, it's f****** neck is broke and it can't fly.
"You can see it going around the yard sideways."
Another man can then be heard saying: "F****** hell lad, that's some heavy spice."
