The incident occurred on August 22, 2019 at the intersection of Kraszewskiego and Matejki streets in Toruń. At around 12:10 on a marked pedestrian crossing a 86-year-old woman was hit by a cyclist.
The woman was correctly passing through the lanes on which a cyclist carrying another man on the steering wheel was passing. As a result of the incident, the woman was hospitalized, but despite the help she died the next day.
The perpetrator of this accident is constantly sought by police officers because he escaped from the scene.
