White-haired 'Granny Ripper' accused of abducting schoolgirl and severing her head

A white-haired pensioner known as “Granny Ripper” kidnapped an eight-year-old girl and held her for three weeks before killing and dismembering her, a Russian court was told.



Sofia Zhukova, 80, seen on a video ranting at a witness from a cage in court, is on trial for three murders spanning a decade and a half.



The retired pig butcher is also suspected of four more possible killings, say reports.



She is accused of butchering the schoolgirl named Anastasia Alexeenko whose severed head was found in 2005 with a severely battered face.
