At least 30 children have been killed after a school fire in Liberia, local police say.
Authorities say the fire broke out at the school in Paynesville City, in the West African country's capital of Monrovia.
The children were learning from the Koran when the fire began, police said.
The fire started late on Tuesday, local-time, in the suburbs of Monrovia, Liberian President George Weah said in a tweet.
