PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A mother and her boyfriend are facing charges in Bend after they were caught on video encouraging young girls to fight.
Bend Police say a 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl were fighting on April 12 and the fight was caught on video. On the video, the mother of the 12-year-old girl can be seen encouraging the fight along with another man, who was later identified as her boyfriend.
On April 13, Bend Police arrested and charged the mother, Sierra Brown, with Menacing, Disorderly Conduct II and Harassment. The man seen on the video, Charles Durand, was also arrested and charged.
The father of the 13-year-old girl was involved in a fight about the video on May 31 and was also arrested and charged. Jessie Gomez faces charges of Disorderly Conduct II, Assault IV and Harassment. No details about the incident have been released.
The younger girl suffered minor injuries.
