A machete thug ditched his moped and attacked three men in a car, repeatedly slashing one terrified victim as he tripped and fell to the floor.
CCTV footage captured the shocking attack launched by Dominic Cummins, 21, after he recognised the men who were stopped at a traffic light.
One of the victims was lucky to have survived after he was slashed across his arms, chest and head, causing severe blood loss.
In the video, Cummins, who has been sentenced to eight years in jail, passes the car and immediately hits his brakes and does a sharp turn before ditching his moped on the pavement.
The helmeted thug pulls a machete out of his trousers and sprints towards the car's driver and passenger, who have stepped out by that point and turn and run when they see the blade.
