On December 25, 2018, Raimjanov found out that the man’s car was parked on Ostrovsky Street. Armed with a TT pistol, the accused waited until he, accompanied by a 47-year-old acquaintance, got into the car, approached him, fired a shot through the glass, wounded the victim in the shoulder and ordered him to leave the passenger compartment. The man tried to disarm the attacker, but he shot him in the head. Then he opened fire on the second victim, wounding him in the stomach and thigh. As a result of the attack, the victims were hospitalized.

After committing a crime, the attacker managed to escape. In the course of well-planned investigative actions and operational-search measures, he was detained on May 15, 2019 in a rented apartment in the village of Osinovo. Moreover, the weapons used in the commission of the crime were seized from him.
