A taxi ride to the center of the capital ended for a 32-year-old Muscovite in a hospital ward - he got there with stab wounds to his lower back and left arm. The surveillance camera recorded a passenger skirmish with the driver.
The footage shows how a man pays off with a taxi driver and intends to leave the cabin, but he does not let him in. The skirmish turned into a beating on the street: the driver struck several hard blows with his fist and legs, and then stabbed a recent client with a knife. Leaving him on the pavement, he drove away.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and his offender was soon detained on Krasnopresnenskaya embankment - he turned out to be a 52-year-old Muscovite. He was released to freedom on his own recognizance. He faces an arrest of up to four months for causing minor bodily harm.
