On Monday, Laura Greco of Monroe tried to support a local business and ordered takeout using DoorDash. She was left shocked and disgusted after she reviewed her Ring surveillance video.
The video appears to show the delivery person bending down and sneezing near the order. The delivery woman then appears to rub her other hand around her mouth before using that hand to ring the doorbell—all while not wearing gloves.
Greco believes the act was intentional but noted on Facebook she wasn't sure.
A spokesperson told Hudson Valley Post the company deeply regrets the customer's experience fell short. They are continuing to look into the situation. The customer has been refunded and they are continuing to reach out to the dasher to get her side of the story.
