An Indiana man anticipating a $1,700 stimulus check obtained a windfall as a substitute from the feds — above $8 million deposited, albeit briefly, to his lender account.
Charles Calvin, a volunteer firefighter in New Chicago, said he acquired the $8.2-million shock when he went to the ATM on Friday to withdraw some hard cash, news station WGNTV documented.
“I went to the ATM at the Spouse and children Categorical and when I withdrew $200 out of my account I seemed at the out there stability continue to remaining in my account,” Calvin informed the outlet. “Apparently, my account experienced 8.2 million bucks in it.”
