From djhjmedia.com - About three weeks ago, David Harris Jr and his wife were on an American Airlines flight heading from San Francisco to Dallas, where a couple on the flight had an issue with David not wearing a mask. David has a medical reason for not wearing a mask, and the airline had a medical exemption in their policies that covers David’s medical reason for not wearing a mask.
At the time, the pilot, Steve Ash, was informed and he came back to speak with the passengers. Takeoff was held up while the pilot took the time to speak to the people who had a problem with David and his bride Jennifer not wearing a mask.
About a week later David got an email from American Airlines telling him that the policy had changed, and that medical exemptions would no longer be allowed.
David booked another American flight to head to Colorado Springs, and on that flight he and his bride wore a mask.
At one point, David was still eating, but he wanted to rest his eyes for a bit, so he placed his hat over his face to act as a mask while he leaned his head back to rest for a minute before finishing his meal.
David was approached by a flight attendant and asked to put his mask back on, and he did so.
David received another email from American Airlines, only this time they informed him that he was banned from flying on the airline.
