MONROE, Louisiana — Two people were shot and killed in Monroe. The Monroe Police Department says it is investigating two shooting deaths at Parkview Apartments on Tuesday, September 1.
They say they responded to the shooting just before 7:30am.
When they arrived, they found two men dead in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Police say both had been shot. Police say their investigation leads them to believe this was an “isolated incident of violence “between the victims and their perpetrators.
The victims were identified as Oyah Smith and Lamarcus Plater.
The suspects are identified as:
Daniel J. Towns, B/M, 3-20-98 BOOKED for 2 counts second-degree murder and 1 count of attempted second-degree murder.
Mario Jones, B/M, 7-19-01 WANTED for 2 counts second-degree murder and 1 count of attempted second-degree murder.
Delarrious Jones, B/M, 8-22-92 WANTED for 2 counts second-degree murder.
The city of Monroe said the two suspects at large should be considered armed and dangerous.
