Albany Police are searching for a shooting suspect who placed several people’s lives in danger inside a convenience store.
The shooting happened around 6:05 p.m. at A&S Foods on Mobile Avenue in East Albany. Once on scene, Officers learned the victim, 37-year old Terrance Wilkes, had been shot multiple times.
Surveillance video shows a man approached Wilkes. They exchange words, and then, there is a struggle. The unknown black male pulls out a handgun and begins shooting Wilkes inside the store. As you can see, there were several customers inside.
Wilkes was taken to the hospital by EMS and is in fair condition.
