Uzzy Marcus's brother Raymond made headlines after several of his Instagram live videos with a gun made it to social media, which led to his arrest. A huge number of people watched the video and were shocked by the content, and quickly deduced that he was Uzzy's brother. The police have opened up about Raymond, revealing that he had been involved in various crimes over the years.
On January 30, he was arrested by Vacaville Police Department in connection with the death of two women. Raymond was arrested inside the apartment after a video showed him carrying a handgun with two women lying on the floor.
“On January 30 at approximately 12:42 am, officers responded to a call of a welfare check at the Rocky Hill Veterans Apartments located at 582 Rocky Hill Road. A woman called to report a man was inside an apartment and possibly armed. She stated the man had live-streamed himself on social media from inside the apartment,” the police said in their statement. The cause of death of the women is still being investigated at the moment. As things stand, Raymond is being currently held at Solano County Jail and does not have the option of bail. He will appear in front of the court on February 2, 2021. This is not the first time that he has been involved in an investigation, and has warrants for several felonies, as reported by ABC 10.
Neighbors revealed that were rather disturbed by Raymond's behavior. “We came home from a friend’s at 1 and the road was blocked off,” said neighbor Stewart Mixon. Mixon lives nearby on Rocky Hill Road and says the road was blocked off early in the morning as police focused on an apartment complex called Rocky Hills Veterans Apartment. “I guess there was some snipers on the roof as well,” Mixon told FOX40.
Police reveal that Weber barricaded himself inside the apartment. According to the police, eight hours after they were called, they found two women dead inside the apartment. What was even disturbing was that Weber reportedly live-streamed himself on Instagram, near the dead women. “It was pretty graphic,” Mixon said. FOX40 obtained the 36-minute long video and is choosing not to show it because of its contents.
In the video, he carried a gun near two dead women and kept saying they were trying to set him up and that it would be the last time people see him and police will come in any minute. “He was messing with two dead bodies. Just saying, ‘They set me up.’” Mixon said. “It’s graphic and disturbing. It made me sick to my stomach for sure.”
The investigation is still underway and the police is yet to release how the two women died or their identity.
For those who are unfamiliar with Uzzy, he is a local rapper who has been trying to make a name for himself in the industry and resorts to social media to talk about music. His recent Instagram videos hint that he has a new single on the horizon. Along with songs, he also gives a glimpse into his personal and professional life. At the moment, his social media does not have any pictures of his brother.
