“A 51-year-old man was stabbed in the back inside a Midtown 7-Eleven on Thursday morning, police said.
The victim was attacked by a man and woman he had been arguing with inside the store on Eight Avenue near West 37th Street at about 8:30 a.m., authorities said.
Police said the victim was first punched by the duo, then stabbed by the man.
Surveillance footage released by police shows part of the attack.
The man can be seen charging at the victim, stabbing him in the back with an unknown object.
He appears to jab the victim three more times from the front, though police said the victim only sustained a back wound.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital.
The suspects fled, and were still at large early Friday morning.”
